Following his 1st round TKO victory over Dustin Neace at StrikeForce Saturday night, Curran is back on a winning path and now has his sites set on Mizugaki’s training partner, Tomohiko Hori, less than a month away. “I know where I’m at in this sport and I wanted to make a statement by taking on Miz’s training partner on my way back to my home in the WEC” Curran stated. “Everybody keeps telling me to just take easy fights to get back but that will not motivate me, I know how I am and I am very motivated for this fight with Hori”.
The fight will be the main event at XFO34 on December 4th and it will also feature some of the best talent coming out of the midwest. If Curran pulls a win out on the 4th we hope to see him back with the WEC soon after, where he promises to tear back up the rankings in the Bantamweight division. “My future is already written”, Curran says with a smile.
